Animal Tear Test Phenol Red Thread

Type I: 2 threads per bag, 10 bags per box.
Packaging and Instructions for Use:
Each packaging bag contains two cotton threads, which are used for measuring the left and right eyes respectively.
The back of the packaging bag is printed with millimeter scale lines for measuring the wet length of the cotton thread.
Product Performance:
The phenol - red cotton thread is yellow in acidic solution (pH < 6.8) and red in alkaline solution (pH > 7.2).

Contraindications:
It is prohibited for animals with severe eye diseases.
Precautions:
Tear open the packaging bag before use. Do not use if the packaging bag is damaged.
Each bag of cotton threads is only for one test animal, and the two cotton threads are for measuring the left and right eyes respectively. This product is sterilized by ethylene oxide and is for one - time use only.
No anesthesia is required during the test. If eye drops are used, the test should be carried out five minutes later.
Since the volume of tear fluid may change, repeating the test on different dates can obtain more reliable results.
For animals recently treated with topical drugs, considering that it may affect the test results, it is not recommended to use this product for testing.
Storage:
Keep in a dry place at room temperature away from light.
Transportation:
During transportation, the product should be protected from sunlight and rain.
Shelf Life:
Under the condition that the packaging bag is not damaged and the storage conditions are appropriate, the shelf life is two years.
